Large tree root removed from a damaged clay sewer pipe in Ryde

  2. 02Cause foundCCTV inspection and locating showed heavy tree roots inside the earthenware clay sewer.
  3. 03Work completedOpened the lawn above the located damage, removed the root mass, cut out the failed clay section and installed new PVC sewer pipework with an inspection riser.
  4. 04OutcomeThe sewer was flowing again, and the failed root-damaged section had been replaced with new PVC pipework and an accessible inspection point.
