It depends on pipe condition. A technician chooses the method and pressure with the age, material, and visible risk in mind.
Does jetting remove tree roots?
Jetting can cut and flush some root matter. If roots entered through a failed joint or crack, CCTV can show the damaged section before repair is discussed.
How is hydro jetting different from an electric eel?
Mechanical equipment opens a blockage with a rotating cable or cutting head. Jetting uses water flow and a selected nozzle to cut and flush material from the pipe.
Should the pipe be inspected after jetting?
CCTV can help after clearing when roots, repeat blockages or possible pipe damage need checking. It is not required for every straightforward clean.
